4 part series: a look at living a life worthy of our calling.  A calling that grows in unity and a maturity that experiences the fullness of Christ

The shortest and fastest pace of the Gospels. Mark’s account is written with intent to show who Jesus is.

Psalm 24:1 "The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it,     the world, and all who live in it;"
Psalm 89:11 "The heavens are yours, and yours also the earth;     you founded the world and all that is in it.

The framework to build around our theology of stewardship is found in these verses.  Often we think it's our stuff, but really God is the owner of everything in the earth.

If you love God, serve Him!
Mark 10:45 "For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many."  As followers of Christ, we are called to serve.

    Worship: Not what you think!
Too often we put our preferences into worship.  But, what really is worship?  Who are we to worship?  And how are we to worship?  There is lots of freedom in worship.  Worship is more than songs, it's an attitude and way of life.

    A Patient Savior
Jesus is a patient savior. He is patient to those that seek Him. Our Savior grows and works with those who put their faith in Him...even to those with a hard heart.

    The Truth isn’t Enough?
It is very easy for us to become like the Pharisees.  There are signs around us all the times of God's grace and His power and authority.  He is revealing Himself to us everyday.  We don't need a BIG sign in the sky to know it, we have access to the Truth.  The Pharisees asked for another 'sign', but it wasn't out of just curiosity, it was out of anger and hatred of Jesus.  May our eyes be opened to what God is doing.

Feeding of the 5,000…I mean 4,000
Jesus is full of compassion.  He is the Bread of Life, our greatest need. He has poured out His compassion upon us, not just enough, but more than enough.

Seeking Jesus, seeking God’s Kingdom, fills our spiritual need which in turn gives understanding, direction, and purpose to our life which brings clarity and right priority to our physical needs.  It sets everything else straight.
